| 22 July 2012 U16 WOMEN Hosts Hungary finished their U16 European Championship Women campaign in seventh place after dominating the Slovak Republic in their tournament's last game, 67-42. Hungary set an early lead and cruised past the Slovaks, who never felt at ease facing a host team determined to get the best result they could. Agnes Dobos, with 15 points and 5 rebounds, led Hungary, having in Virag Weninger, with 13 points, her best teammate. The Hungarian team outrebounded the Slovaks, 48-25, and scored twice as many points in the paint, 44-22. Alzbeta Bubenikova was the top scorer for the Slovak Republic with 10 points. |
